We’re pushing an auto-update to P4 users on capable web-hosts this morning to address a few minor bugs. If you’re running P4 you’ll likely see ProPhoto update itself automatically the next time you log in. If you love nitty-gritty technical details, here’s a fairly detailed list of what’s changed since the last build we pushed (#878) on December 21:
- 01/09/12 – fix broken social media icon widget image preview in widgets admin page
- 01/06/12 – prevent white-screen of death errors for users running very out of date versions of WP and PHP when upgrading to P4
- don’t show auto-upgrade link to users with auto-upgrades disabled
- fix problem where post picture borders were being applied to grids large enough to require image protection
- make “Insert all images” functionality respect added custom titles, alt text, and captions (more about this in a later blog post)
- 01/05/12 – prevent fatal errors caused by attempting to downsize massive images, for users who uploaded huge images
- fix popup “first-time” video tutorials in admin pages not showing correctly
- fix problem editing menus in IE8
- allow for import of FTP uploaded design zip files when host limitations prevent web admin upload
- 01/04/12 – prevent fatal errors when encountering corrupt P3 customization data when upgrading
- fix rare problem where menu admin interface fails to load because of javascript enqueueing error anomaly
- 01/03/12 – ensure non-ProPhoto and ProPhoto widgets don’t get jumbled up together on first-time activation because of new WP 3.3 functionality
- 12/27/11 – fix problem where custom lines above/below menu were showing in header layout where they should not have been
- ensure that CSS is fully loaded before calculating width of sliding sidebar drawers to avoid problem where drawer slides out very slow and then disappears all the way off edge of screen
- switch to new header layout graphic images, props Matt Hudson
- 12/23/11 – prevent slashes from showing up in gallery titles and subtitles with apostrophes and what have you
- 12/22/11 – fix problem that was causing iPad swiping for vertical scrolling to not work when swipe was on top of ProPhoto slideshow gallery
- fix problem in menu-alignment interface caused by jQuery change in WP 3.3
